Bourne and Fen Farmers Training Group are based in South and West Lincolnshire and were established in 2003 following the merger of two training, Fen Farmers Training Group and Bourne Training Group.  Fen Farmers at that time covered rural businesses for their training needs north of Spalding up to the A52, encompassing the villages and fenland areas in between.  Bourne Training Group, covered west of this area from the Forty Foot Drain at Guthrams Gowt across the Bourne Ridge to the A1 and South to Stamford.  Both groups originated in the 1980’s which was during the period the of Agricultural Training Board (1974 - 1994); which had been set up to provide appropriate training facilities for the industry, with regional training boards overseeing the implementation of the actual training.

Our qualified instructors and assessors have the relevant qualifications to deliver training in their fields of expertise.  They have likewise a built up, over a vast number of years a wealth of experience in their area of skills gaining a vast knowledge in both practical and technical terms of their topics, which they are more than happy to share with those attending training.

Our land based courses save you time and are cost effective by offering you quality and relevant training either on your premises or within our catchment area.  Where possible training is organised to fit into your work schedule, whether it is a week-long course, day course or a short half a day course.  Courses can be tailored to your needs, from courses for trainees are just starting out on their career in rural enterprises with little or no knowledge, to those more experienced staff who need to advance their knowledge in a specialist area of their work.
